The OnePlus Nord 5 and Vivo T4 Pro offer different camera setups, both featuring a dual-lens main camera but with some notable differences in specs. The OnePlus has a 50 MP + 8 MP configuration with wide apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.8, while the Vivo T4 Pro has a 50 MP + 50 MP + 2 MP setup, with apertures of f/1.8, f/2.7, and f/2.4. This gives the Vivo T4 Pro more flexibility, particularly with an additional 50 MP sensor. The OnePlus has a front camera with a 50 MP sensor and a f/2.0 aperture, while the Vivo T4 Pro features a 32 MP front camera with a f/2.5 aperture.
Both devices offer built-in optical image stabilization (OIS), phase-detection autofocus for photos, continuous autofocus during video recording, and the ability to record slow-motion video. However, the OnePlus Nord 5 can record video at 2160p (4K) at 60 fps, while the Vivo T4 Pro records at 2160p at 30 fps. The OnePlus also has a dual-tone LED flash with two LEDs, compared to the Vivo’s single LED flash. Additionally, the OnePlus features a wide range of manual controls, including manual exposure, ISO, and white balance, along with a serial shot mode. The Vivo T4 Pro offers the same manual controls but differs in having optical zoom (3x), which the OnePlus lacks.
Neither phone supports raw image capture, HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, or 360° panorama shooting. Both devices have a panorama mode, and while neither includes a front-facing LED flash, they both offer a timelapse function. The OnePlus Nord 5 supports creating panoramas in-camera, as does the Vivo T4 Pro, but the front cameras are different in terms of megapixel count and aperture size. The OnePlus Nord 5’s front camera has a larger megapixel count, while the Vivo’s front camera offers a slightly narrower aperture.
