The Akko Verge uses an over-ear fit and tips the scale at 270 g, keeping the overall build reasonably light for extended wear. It features a closed-back design with stereo speakers and can be folded for easier storage or transport. The headset does not include RGB lighting, a detachable cable, or a tangle-free cable.
The Akko Verge is equipped with two 53mm neodymium magnet drivers that cover a frequency range from 12 Hz to 22,000 Hz, with an impedance of 64 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 100 dB/mW. It supports spatial audio and offers virtual surround sound, adding positional depth to the listening experience. The headset does not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction.
The Akko Verge includes a single removable noise-canceling microphone with a sensitivity of -38dBV/Pa, allowing it to be detached when not needed. There is no built-in mute function available on the microphone itself.
The Akko Verge runs on a built-in rechargeable 2000 mAh battery rated for up to 250 hours of use, and a battery level indicator lets users monitor remaining charge at a glance. The battery is not removable.
The Akko Verge connects via Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz wireless, with a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 meters, and uses USB Type-C for charging. It does not support NFC pairing, fast pairing, or any advanced audio codecs such as aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX HD, LDAC, LDHC, or AAC.
The Akko Verge can be used as a headset and features an on-device control panel for managing playback or other functions directly from the headset. It does not have an in-line control panel, a vibration function, or an included travel bag.
