Amazfit T-Rex 3

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 features a 1.5″ AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 480 px and a pixel density of 322 ppi, and it supports an always-on display mode for continuous visibility. The case measures 48.5 x 48.5 mm with a thickness of 13.75 mm and weighs 68.3 g, with a 22 mm replaceable band. Water resistance is rated at 10 ATM to a depth of 100 metres, backed by an IP68 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for submersion. The display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, though sapphire glass is not included. Operating temperatures range from -30 °C to 70 °C, with a maximum altitude rating of 113,000 feet.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 includes a comprehensive sensor array built around GPS, a heart rate monitor, and a pulse oximeter for blood oxygenation tracking. A barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, and body temperature sensor round out the onboard hardware, providing solid coverage for navigation, motion detection, and environmental awareness. The watch does not include a cadence sensor, wind speed sensor, or perspiration monitor.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 covers a wide range of activity tracking functions, including route tracking, distance, pace, elevation, and step counting, alongside a trackback mode for retracing your path. It features multi-sport mode with automatic activity detection, and extends to specialist use cases such as diving and golf, with a swim stroke counter included for aquatic sessions. Sleep tracking is supported with detailed sleep reports, and exercise tagging gives users further control over workout logging. On the nutrition side, calorie intake tracking is also available.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 is compatible with both iOS and Android and connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n). NFC is also on board, adding contactless functionality to the feature set. The watch does not include a cellular module or ANT+ support.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 is powered by a 700 mAh rechargeable battery that delivers up to 27 days of standard use, 180 hours with GPS active, 13 hours in training mode, and up to 960 hours in power-saving mode. Charging is handled wirelessly and takes around 3 hours to complete. The battery is not removable, and there is no solar charging capability.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 offers a broad set of health and utility features, including HRV tracking, VO2 max measurement, resting heart rate monitoring, and both fast/slow heart rate notifications and irregular heart rate warnings, along with a readiness and recovery indicator. On the navigation side, it supports Galileo satellite systems and allows map uploads directly to the device, which comes with 32 GB of internal storage and 64 MB of RAM. Day-to-day usability is covered through wrist notifications, call control, vibrating alerts, a silent alarm, stopwatch, phone finder, sunrise/sunset times, thunderstorm risk alerts, voice commands, and a built-in camera remote shutter. The watch does not support answering calls directly, and a smart alarm is not included.

The companion app is free and ad-free, and covers an extensive range of tracking and management tools including activity reports, calorie burn, exercise diary, food diary, weight, BMI, water intake, and temperature tracking. It supports 177 exercises, live tracking, coaching, voice feedback, music playback, route support, maps, and calendar sync, alongside widgets and broad personalisation options. Women's health features include period notifications, fertile window notifications, ovulation prediction, and menstrual start date prediction. Video tutorials and an achievements system are also included, while a barcode scanner is not available in the app.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 includes a battery level indicator, auto pause, and passcode protection, and is compatible with external heart rate monitors and smart scales. It does not support Windows or Mac OS X desktop connectivity, and there is no external memory slot or 3.5 mm audio jack.
