The Amazfit Up feature an open-ear fit and a fully wireless design with no cables or neckband, keeping the overall weight down to just 10 grams per earbud. They include stereo speakers but come without wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or a display. For protection during physical activity, they carry an IPX4 rating, which means they are sweat resistant though not suited for submersion in water.
The Amazfit Up cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and offer passive noise reduction to help reduce ambient sound without active processing. They do not include active noise cancellation, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet driver.
Each earbud holds a 50 mAh rechargeable battery delivering 6 hours of playback, while the 440 mAh charging case extends the total to 18 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. The earbuds do not support wireless charging or solar charging.
The Amazfit Up connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and AAC codec support is included for audio transmission. Charging is handled through a USB Type-C port. The earbuds do not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, LDAC, LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, or any variant of aptX, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice.
The Amazfit Up support multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset, with controls placed directly on the earbuds and voice prompts included for audio feedback. Fast charging is supported, and a mute function is available during calls or use. A travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pause, a find-device feature, notification readout, an in-line control panel, a temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
