The RG35XX H is a handheld console with an IPS display, an internal power supply, and 64GB of internal storage on a replaceable drive. There is no optical disc drive included.

Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) is also supported alongside Wi-Fi 5. Cellular, NFC, RJ45, and DLNA are not available, and connectivity between home and portable devices is not supported.
The RG35XX H features a 3.5-inch screen with a pixel density of 228 ppi and uses flash storage for data access. Stereo speakers provide two-channel audio output, and the device supports quick resume and high score and achievement tracking, with a secondary screen also present. Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray playback, Dolby Vision, 3D audio, VR support, touchscreen, front camera, optical tracking, autostereoscopic display, backwards compatibility, Discord voice chat, voice commands, child lock, and the ability to play while downloading are all absent from the feature set.
The RG35XX H comes with one built-in controller featuring two analog sticks and 14 buttons. Adaptive triggers, dual force feedback, an integrated touchpad, motion sensing, and a wireless controller are not supported.
The RG35XX H includes a 128GB HDD storage capacity for additional content storage.
