The Aoostar Maco follows a Micro-ATX form factor and occupies a compact footprint of 150 mm wide, 55 mm tall, and 130 mm thick, resulting in a total volume of 1072.5 cm³. Storage is provided by a 1TB NVMe SSD, offering fast read and write access compared to traditional SATA-based drives.
The CPU operates at 8 cores × 3.8 GHz with a turbo clock of 4.9 GHz and exposes 16 threads through multithreading support, all within a 15W TDP envelope. Cache is organized as 8 MB of L2 (1 MB per core) and 16 MB of L3 (2 MB per core), with a fixed clock multiplier of 38 and no unlocked multiplier option. The processor supports 64-bit computing, includes integrated graphics, and has a maximum rated temperature of 100 °C.
The integrated GPU delivers 8.294 TFLOPS of floating-point performance, with a base clock of 800 MHz boosting up to 2700 MHz, backed by 768 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs for a texture rate of 129.6 GTexels/s and a pixel rate of 86.4 GPixel/s. Built on a 4 nm process with 25,390 million transistors, it connects via PCIe 4.0 and supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, OpenGL 4.6, OpenCL 2.1, ray tracing, and double precision floating point, though DLSS is not supported. Multi-display output across up to four screens is supported, and the chip is capable of double precision floating point computation.
The Aoostar Maco is equipped with 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MHz, providing a modern memory configuration suited to the system's overall specification level.
Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with backwards compatibility for Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4, alongside Bluetooth 5.2. On the wired side, two RJ45 ports provide dual Ethernet, and the USB layout includes two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and two USB 4 40Gbps ports that also function as Thunderbolt 4; no USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB-C Gen 2, USB 4 20Gbps, or Thunderbolt 3 ports are present. Display output is covered by one HDMI 2.1 port and one DisplayPort output, while a 3.5 mm audio jack is included; there is no VGA connector and no S/PDIF output.
In PassMark testing, the Aoostar Maco achieves a multi-threaded score of 28,797 alongside a single-threaded score of 3,556, reflecting the processor's overall and per-core performance characteristics.
The Radeon 780M GPU is based on the RDNA 3.0 architecture, and the system supports stereoscopic 3D output. Memory can scale up to 256GB across two channels, with a maximum supported RAM speed of 7500 MHz, and ECC memory is supported; there is no external memory slot. The CPU is classified for both laptop and desktop use, supports a broad set of instruction sets including MMX, F16C, FMA3, AES, AVX, AVX2, SSE 4.1, and SSE 4.2, and includes an NX bit for hardware-level execution protection, but does not use big.LITTLE technology. The system relies on its built-in cooling solution with no air-water cooling option, and comes with a one-year warranty.
