The Aukey EP-N8 adopt a true wireless, in-ear design with no cables or neckband, and come with wingtips included to help secure the fit during use. They carry an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning they are built to withstand submersion rather than just light splashes. The earbuds feature stereo speakers on both sides, while extras such as RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are not part of the design.
The Aukey EP-N8 combine active noise cancellation with passive noise reduction to address ambient sound on two levels. Audio is handled by a 10 mm driver unit covering a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo.
The Aukey EP-N8 offer up to 5 hours of battery life per charge, with the included charging case extending total playback to 25 hours. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour, and the earbuds support both wired and wireless charging. Battery level indication is available so users can monitor remaining power, and the battery is rechargeable. There is no solar charging capability.
The Aukey EP-N8 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.1 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and USB Type-C is used for wired charging. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are not supported, and the earbuds do not include any aptX variants (including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice), nor do they support LDAC, LDHC, AAC, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The Aukey EP-N8 include an ambient sound mode for environmental awareness and a mute function for quick silencing during calls, and they can also be used as a headset. Controls are placed directly on the earbuds rather than on an in-line panel, and voice prompts are present to provide audio feedback. Fast charging is supported, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not feature in/on-ear detection, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote.
The Aukey EP-N8 is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, designed to reduce background sound during calls and voice input.
