The AWOL Vision Aetherion Pro uses a laser light source and carries a 2-year warranty, giving it a solid foundation for long-term use. Physically, the unit measures 562 mm wide, 323 mm deep, and 139.5 mm tall, with a total volume of 25,322.877 cm³ and a weight of 8,750 g. It also comes with a dedicated smartphone app, adding a layer of convenience for day-to-day control and setup.
The Aetherion Pro delivers a 4K output resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time, supporting a maximum projection size of 200″. Its contrast ratio stands at 6000:1, and it handles a full range of HDR formats — HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision — ensuring broad compatibility with high-dynamic-range content. The projector is also capable of displaying 3D content with glasses. Focus and zoom are both handled manually, as motorized variants of either are not included.
The Aetherion Pro offers a well-rounded set of wired and wireless connectivity options. On the wired side, it includes three HDMI ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and one RJ45 port, while VGA, DVI, and S/PDIF Out connections are absent. Wireless support spans Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) alongside Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 6E, paired with Bluetooth 5.4. For streaming and casting, the projector supports AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Miracast, and holds DLNA certification, covering a broad range of screen-sharing and media-sharing protocols.
The Aetherion Pro includes a built-in stereo speaker system rated at 2 x 12.5W with Dolby Atmos support, alongside a 3.5 mm headset jack for external audio output. It features a built-in smart TV platform, voice commands, a remote control, and a sleep timer, rounding out a fairly complete set of day-to-day usability options. Lens shift is unavailable in both vertical and horizontal directions, and there is no external memory slot. Audio placement flexibility is further supported by the stereo configuration, though lens positioning relies entirely on physical adjustment given the absence of any shift mechanism.
