The Beyerdynamic Amiron 100 feature an in-ear fit and weigh just 8.3 g, making them a lightweight option in the true wireless category — there are no cables or cords of any kind. The earbuds deliver stereo sound and come without wingtips, a neckband design, RGB lighting, a UV light, or a display.
The Amiron 100 include both active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction to help block out unwanted sound. Audio is handled by a 6 mm driver unit with a frequency range spanning 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz. The earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and they do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Amiron 100 offer 8 hours of battery life per charge, dropping to 6 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled, while the charging case contributes an additional 19 hours. The earbuds have a rechargeable battery and support wireless charging, with a full charge taking 1.5 hours. A battery level indicator is included, and there is no solar power capability.
The Amiron 100 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 15 m, and support both LE Audio and the AAC codec. USB Type-C is available for wired charging. The earbuds do not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, LDAC, LDHC, Auracast, or any variant of the aptX codec family, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice.
The Amiron 100 include an ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection for automatic playback pausing, a mute function, and voice prompts for audio feedback. They can be used as a headset and are controlled via a panel placed on the device itself, though there is no in-line control panel. Fast charging is supported, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not offer a find device feature, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote control.
The Amiron 100 are equipped with a total of 6 microphones, and the microphone system includes noise cancellation to help reduce background sound during calls and voice interaction.
