The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 uses an in-ear fit and is designed as a true wireless earbud, meaning it operates entirely without wires or cables. It features stereo speakers for a two-channel listening experience, while omitting a neckband design, wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display, keeping the overall form factor straightforward and uncluttered.
The Amiron 300 handles noise reduction on two fronts, combining active noise cancellation (ANC) with passive noise isolation to help block out unwanted sound. Audio is reproduced through a 10 mm driver unit, with a frequency range spanning 20 Hz to 40,000 Hz. The earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and they do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver construction.
The Amiron 300 offers 10 hours of battery life on a single charge, dropping to 7 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled, while the charging case extends the total to 28 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds support both wireless charging and fast charging. The battery is rechargeable and includes a battery level indicator, though solar charging is not available.
The Amiron 300 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 15 m, and supports the LDAC and AAC audio codecs for wireless audio transmission. It includes a USB Type-C port but does not support fast pairing or NFC pairing. The aptX codec family — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — is absent, as are LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast.
The Amiron 300 includes a solid set of everyday features, starting with ambient sound mode and in-ear detection that automatically pauses playback when the earbuds are removed. A find device feature helps locate misplaced earbuds, while fast charging, a mute function, voice prompts, and a control panel on the device itself round out the core usability experience. The earbuds can also function as a headset for calls and come with a travel bag included. Notification readout, an in-line control panel, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are not supported.
The Amiron 300 is equipped with a six-microphone array that includes noise-canceling microphone functionality, helping to reduce background noise during calls and voice interactions.
