The Beyerdynamic Aventho 200 uses an over-ear fit and weighs 293 g, striking a balance between comfort and portability. The closed-back design houses stereo speakers and the headphones can be folded, making them easier to pack alongside the included travel bag. Connectivity is handled through a detachable, tangle-free cable, adding flexibility for wired use. The headphones are not designed for children and carry no water resistance rating, so they are intended for everyday indoor or dry-condition use.
The Aventho 200 is equipped with a 45 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range spanning from 10 Hz to 22,000 Hz. It features both active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction, offering two layers of isolation from ambient sound. The headphones do not support spatial audio and do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver configuration.
The Aventho 200 carries a rechargeable battery with a 63-hour rated battery life in standard wireless use, which drops to 40 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled. Charging is handled via USB Type-C and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. A battery level indicator is built in so users can monitor remaining charge at a glance. The battery is not removable, and the headphones support neither wireless charging nor solar power.
The Aventho 200 supports both wireless and wired connectivity, with the wireless side running on Bluetooth 5.4 and reaching a maximum range of 15 meters. Supported audio codecs include aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and AAC, while aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, LDAC, and LDHC are not available. Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast are likewise not supported. Fast pairing is included for quicker device setup, though NFC-based pairing is not an option.
The Aventho 200 features a six-microphone array with noise-canceling capability, making it suitable for use as a headset during calls. An ambient sound mode lets users hear their surroundings without removing the headphones, and controls are handled through an on-device panel rather than an in-line cable control. The headphones support multipoint connection for up to two devices simultaneously. In/on-ear detection for automatic music pausing is not available, nor is a dedicated mute function.
