Blu G65L

The Blu G65L has a straightforward, non-folding design with no rugged certification and no water resistance. It measures 166.2 mm tall, 77.6 mm wide, and 8.6 mm thick, giving it a relatively slim profile for a large-screen device. At 200 g, it sits on the heavier side for everyday carry, with a total volume of approximately 110.9 cm³.

The Blu G65L features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 262 ppi, delivering standard HD-level sharpness across its large panel. The display runs at a 90Hz refresh rate, which contributes to noticeably smoother scrolling and navigation in daily use. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and there is no support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, nor does it offer an Always-On Display mode or a secondary screen.

The Blu G65L is powered by the Unisoc T7200 chipset, built on a 12nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 1.6 GHz and 6 x 1.6 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage — expandable up to a maximum of 14GB of memory. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 MP1 GPU clocked at 650 MHz, featuring 64 shading units and one execution unit, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chip also integrates LTE and includes ARM TrustZone for hardware-level security, while cache is distributed across 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s and a TDP of 10W. Geekbench 6 scores land at 371 single-core and 1391 multi-core, with a PassMark result of 2663 and a single-core PassMark of 988.

The Blu G65L carries a single-lens 50 MP rear camera built on a CMOS sensor, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and a range of manual controls including ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed, laser autofocus, and optical zoom are not available. It records video at up to 1080p at 30fps and supports slow-motion recording, but does not offer HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, and in-camera panorama, while a single LED flash is present on the rear — there is no dual-tone or RGB flash, and no front-facing flash. The 8 MP front camera is a single-lens unit with no under-display placement, and the system does not support RAW capture or 3D photo and video recording.

The Blu G65L ships with Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, voice commands with offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device tracking. Privacy-wise, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. On the usability side, the OS includes dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, a child lock, sharing intents, Live Text, extra dim mode, battery health check, and the ability to play games while they download. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Blu G65L is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports fast charging and includes a battery level indicator for convenient monitoring. Wireless charging is not available on this model.

The Blu G65L includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, offering two wired and broadcast listening options. It does not feature stereo speakers, and none of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Blu G65L supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and a cellular module with download speeds of up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. It accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot for expandable storage, and connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0. Location is handled by GPS with Galileo support, and an accelerometer is present, while a compass, gyroscope, barometer, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. A fingerprint scanner is included for biometric authentication, but NFC, 3D facial recognition, and iris scanning are not available. The device lacks HDMI output, an infrared sensor, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, a heart rate monitor, a built-in projector, a stylus, crash detection, and emergency SOS via satellite.

The Blu G65L includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
