The boAt Airdopes 301 feature an in-ear fit and are designed as a fully wire-free, true wireless pair, with no neckband or wingtips included. They carry an IPX5 ingress protection rating, making them resistant to sweat, which suits active use reasonably well. Each earbud delivers stereo sound output, while the overall design keeps things minimal — there is no RGB lighting, UV light, or display of any kind on the unit.
The boAt Airdopes 301 use 10 mm driver units and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard audible spectrum. They rely on passive noise reduction to limit ambient sound, as active noise cancellation is not supported. Advanced audio processing technologies such as spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and neodymium magnets are not part of the specification for these earbuds.
The boAt Airdopes 301 offer 8 hours of battery life per charge, with the accompanying charging case extending total playback to 67 hours before needing to be replenished. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds feature a rechargeable battery along with a battery level indicator so users can keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery charging are not supported on this model.
The boAt Airdopes 301 connect wirelessly using Bluetooth 5.3, with a maximum range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 50 ms. The charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging, though fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available on this model. In terms of audio codec support, the earbuds do not include LDAC, LDHC, aptX in any of its variants (including aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice), Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The boAt Airdopes 301 support fast charging and can function as a headset, with controls placed directly on the earbuds and voice prompts to assist with navigation. A mute function is also built in, and a travel bag is included in the box. The warranty period covers one year from purchase. On the other hand, the earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pausing, a find-device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a body temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
The boAt Airdopes 301 are equipped with a quad-microphone setup, and the microphone system includes noise-canceling capability, which helps reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice interactions.
