The boAt Airdopes Primo use an in-ear fit and operate as true wireless earbuds with no cables or neckband involved. They carry an IPX4 rating, offering sweat resistance suitable for active use. The earbuds feature stereo speakers but do not include wingtips, RGB lighting, a display, or a UV light.
The boAt Airdopes Primo use 10 mm drivers and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard audible spectrum. Passive noise reduction is present to help limit ambient sound, though active noise cancellation is not supported. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing.
Each earbud holds a 40 mAh rechargeable battery delivering up to 8 hours of playback, while the 300 mAh charging case extends the total to 37 hours before needing a recharge. A full charge takes just 30 minutes, and a battery level indicator is available to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The boAt Airdopes Primo connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 50 ms. USB Type-C is used for wired charging, though fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available. On the codec side, the earbuds do not support LDAC, LDHC, AAC, Auracast, Bluetooth LE Audio, or any variant of aptX, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice.
The boAt Airdopes Primo support fast charging and can function as a headset, with a mute function, voice prompts, and an on-device control panel included. A travel bag comes in the box, and the earbuds carry a one-year warranty. They do not offer ambient sound mode, in-ear detection, a find-device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
The boAt Airdopes Primo feature a quad-microphone setup with noise-canceling capability, designed to reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice interactions.
