The boAt Rockerz Summit follows an in-ear neckband design, keeping the two earbuds tethered by a cable that rests around the neck rather than operating as a fully wire-free set. It carries an IPX5 ingress protection rating, which translates to sweat resistance suitable for physical activity. The earbuds include stereo speakers but come without wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The boAt Rockerz Summit uses a 10 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the standard limits of human hearing. It relies on passive noise reduction to attenuate ambient sound rather than active noise cancellation, which is not supported. The earbuds do not include spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet.
The boAt Rockerz Summit is equipped with a rechargeable battery rated for 30 hours of battery life, and it replenishes fully in just 1 hour of charge time. A battery level indicator is included to help users keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The boAt Rockerz Summit supports wireless Bluetooth connectivity with a maximum range of 10 m and uses USB Type-C for wired charging. It does not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, or Auracast, and none of the advanced audio codecs are present, including AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, aptX Voice, or Bluetooth LE Audio.
The boAt Rockerz Summit supports multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and can function as a headset for calls, backed by a mute function and voice prompts for hands-free feedback. Physical controls are accessible through an in-line control panel placed on the device itself. Fast charging is supported, and the product carries a one-year warranty. Features not included are ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device function, notification reading, a travel bag, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter.
The boAt Rockerz Summit is fitted with a noise-canceling microphone, which works to reduce background noise during calls and voice interactions.
