The Boult Audio C Charge use an in-ear fit and come with a neckband design, meaning they are not true wireless and retain a cable connecting the two earbuds. Wingtips are included to help keep them secure during use, and stereo speakers are present on both sides. The earbuds carry an IPX5 rating, making them sweat resistant and reasonably suited for active wear.
The C Charge uses a 10 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Passive noise reduction is present, helping to block some ambient sound through the physical fit of the earbuds, though active noise cancellation is not available. The drivers do not use a neodymium magnet in their construction.
The C Charge is equipped with a rechargeable battery that delivers up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, making it well suited for extended use between top-ups. A battery level indicator is included so users can keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging is not supported, so the earbuds must be charged through a wired connection.
The C Charge connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 50 ms. Charging is done through a USB-C port. Advanced audio codecs are not on offer — LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are all absent. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are likewise not supported, so connections are made through the standard Bluetooth pairing process.
The C Charge supports multipoint connectivity for up to 2 devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts included. Controls are accessible both through an in-line panel on the cable and via a control panel on the device itself. Fast charging is supported, and the earbuds come with a one-year warranty. Ambient sound mode, in-ear detection, a find device feature, and a body temperature sensor are not available, and no travel bag is included in the package.
The C Charge features a single noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce background sound when taking calls or using voice input.
