The Chilkey Slice68 HE is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard built in a compact 75% layout with a standard profile, connecting to a host system via USB at a polling rate of 8000 Hz. It uses a gasket mount construction and comes with a detachable cable, though it is not designed for Mac use. Physically, the keyboard measures 322 mm wide, 139 mm in height, and 35 mm thick, with a weight of 1850 g.
The keyboard features a plastic case paired with an aluminum plate, and is available in either black or white. It includes RGB backlighting with a south-facing LED direction, and the adjustable feet allow for some flexibility in typing angle. A wrist rest is not included with the keyboard.
The Chilkey Slice68 HE uses Custom WS Flux Switches, a hall effect linear switch with an actuation force of 35 g and a total travel distance of 3.5 mm. The actuation point is adjustable across a wide range, from as low as 0.1 mm up to 3.5 mm, giving users fine control over how and when each keypress registers.
The Slice68 HE supports rapid trigger and adjustable actuation, allowing the switch response point to be customized to suit different typing or gaming preferences. Full N-key rollover is also included, ensuring every simultaneous keypress is accurately registered. The keyboard does not feature USB passthrough or an onboard display.
The Slice68 HE uses an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement and comes equipped with dye-sublimated PBT keycaps in an OEM profile. Media functions are accessible via the Fn key rather than through dedicated keys, and the keyboard does not include a rotary dial.
