The Colorful Colorfire B650M-Meow Wi-Fi Orange is built around a single AM5 socket paired with the B650 chipset, and adopts a Micro-ATX form factor measuring 245 x 245 mm. It supports overclocking and includes RGB lighting, while HDMI output is provided at version 1.4. Wireless connectivity is handled natively, covering Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 alongside Bluetooth 5.2, though aptX audio codec support is absent. The board does not feature dual BIOS, an easy CMOS reset mechanism, integrated graphics, or an integrated CPU, and it carries a three-year warranty.
This motherboard uses DDR5 memory and provides four slots arranged across two channels, supporting a maximum capacity of 192 GB. The native RAM speed tops out at 4800 MHz, though with overclocking that ceiling rises to 7600 MHz. ECC memory is not supported.
The rear I/O panel offers a varied USB selection, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and four USB 2.0 ports; there are no USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, USB 4, Thunderbolt 3, or Thunderbolt 4 ports present. Display output is handled by one HDMI port and one DisplayPort output, with no DVI or VGA connectors available. Network connectivity is provided through a single RJ45 port, and there are no eSATA or PS/2 ports on this board.
Internal connectivity includes two M.2 sockets and four SATA 3 connectors for storage, while SATA 2 and U.2 sockets are absent, as is an mSATA connector. For USB expansion, the board provides headers supporting two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and four USB 2.0 ports, with an additional two USB 3.0 ports available through expansion. Four fan headers are on hand for cooling management, though there is no TPM connector present.
The board offers three expansion slots in total: one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the primary graphics card or similar high-bandwidth devices, one PCIe x4 slot, and one PCIe x1 slot. There are no PCIe 2.0, PCIe 3.0, or PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, no PCIe x8 slots, and no legacy PCI slots.
Audio support extends to 7.1 channels, with six audio connectors available for connecting speakers, headphones, and microphones. There is no S/PDIF Out port on this board.
The board supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 10 configurations, offering flexibility for both performance-oriented and redundancy-focused storage setups. RAID 5 and RAID 0+1 are not supported.
