Coros Vertix 2S

The Coros Vertix 2S has a 1.4″ LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 280 x 280 px, protected by sapphire glass and set to always-on mode for continuous visibility. The watch measures 50.3 x 50.3 mm with a thickness of 16 mm and weighs 70 g, with a 26 mm replaceable band. It carries a 10 ATM water resistance rating and is built to operate in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 70 °C, though it does not use branded damage-resistant glass such as Gorilla Glass.

The Coros Vertix 2S includes a broad set of built-in sensors, covering GPS, a heart rate monitor, a pulse oximeter for blood oxygenation tracking, a barometer, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a compass, and a body temperature sensor. It does not include a cadence sensor, a wind speed sensor, or a perspiration monitor.

The Coros Vertix 2S offers a wide range of activity tracking capabilities, including route tracking, distance, pace, elevation, and step counting, alongside multi-sport mode and automatic activity detection. It features trackback mode, exercise tagging, and a swim stroke counter, while also covering daily health habits through sleep tracking with sleep reports and calorie intake tracking. It is not designed for diving or golf.

The Coros Vertix 2S is compatible with both iOS and Android and connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi. It does not include a cellular module, NFC, or ANT+ support.

The Coros Vertix 2S is equipped with a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 36 days in standard use and up to 118 hours with GPS active, charging fully in approximately 2 hours. The battery is not removable and does not support wireless or solar charging.

The Coros Vertix 2S covers an extensive range of health and navigation features, including HRV tracking, VO2 max measurement, resting heart rate monitoring, fast/slow heart rate notifications, irregular heart rate warnings, and a readiness/recovery indicator. It supports map uploads with Galileo satellite compatibility, offers 32 GB of internal storage, and provides wrist notifications, call control, vibrating alerts, a silent alarm, a stopwatch, a phone finder, and sunrise/sunset times. The watch carries a 2-year warranty and does not include fall detection, a smart alarm, voice commands, a camera remote shutter, or the ability to answer calls directly from the wrist.

The companion app for the Coros Vertix 2S is free and ad-free, covering activity reports, inactivity alerts, calorie burn tracking, weight and water intake tracking, temperature tracking, goal setting, achievements, an exercise diary, coaching, and route support across 11 exercises. It syncs with existing calendars, supports widgets, exports data to email, offers music playback, and predicts cycle start dates. An account is required to use the app, and it does not support app-level personalisation or a barcode scanner.

The Coros Vertix 2S includes a battery level indicator, auto pause, and compatibility with external heart rate monitors, with the companion software also available on PC. It does not have an external memory slot or a 3.5 mm audio jack.
