Doogee S Punk

The Doogee S Punk features a rugged build with an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust and sustained water immersion. It measures 178.5 mm tall, 83.1 mm wide, and 17.9 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 265.52 cm³ and a weight of 422 g. The phone does not fold. Notably, it carries a French Repairability Index score of 8 out of 10, reflecting a relatively high ease of repair by design.

The Doogee S Punk uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.58″ with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 px and a pixel density of 401 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image. The panel is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode. A secondary screen is absent, keeping the form factor straightforward.

The Doogee S Punk is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running all cores at 1.6 GHz, supported by 6 GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 14 GB. The SoC uses big.LITTLE architecture with HMP scheduling, integrates LTE, and includes ARM TrustZone security. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 MP1 GPU clocked at 650 MHz with 64 shading units and one execution unit, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. Cache configuration consists of 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3, while maximum memory bandwidth reaches 12.8 GB/s and the TDP is rated at 10W. Benchmark results include a Geekbench 6 multi-core score of 1391 and single-core of 371, Geekbench 5 multi-core of 1175 and single-core of 313, a PassMark score of 2663, and a single-core PassMark of 988.

The Doogee S Punk features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP main sensor with a 2 MP secondary lens, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. The rear setup includes two flash LEDs, though they are not dual-tone or RGB, and there is no optical zoom or optical image stabilization. Autofocus options cover phase-detection and touch AF for stills as well as continuous AF during video recording, while laser autofocus is absent. Manual controls extend to ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, slow-motion video, and in-camera panoramas, while 360-degree panorama, RAW capture, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D capture are not supported. On the front, a single 16 MP camera handles selfies without a dedicated flash, a secondary lens, or an under-display placement.

The Doogee S Punk runs Android 14 and offers a broad set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Users can block app tracking, and on-device machine learning is supported. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports multi-user accounts, a child lock, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing, direct OS vendor updates, Quick Start, and the ability to use the phone as a PC are not included, and the platform is free and open source.

The Doogee S Punk houses a 10800 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator and support for 33W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. The battery is not removable and wireless charging is not supported.

The Doogee S Punk includes a built-in radio but lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codecs are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC.

The Doogee S Punk supports dual-SIM connectivity with a cellular module, Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, though 5G is not available. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and there is no HDMI output. Download speeds reach up to 300 Mbit/s with uploads up to 100 Mbit/s. An external memory slot is present for expandable storage. Location is covered by GPS with Galileo support, and onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are absent. Security options include a fingerprint scanner, but 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported. ANT+, DLNA certification, satellite SOS, crash detection, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not featured.

The Doogee S Punk includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel is used.
