Doogee S100

The Doogee S100 carries a rugged build with an IP68 rating, meaning it is fully waterproof and protected against dust and sustained submersion. Its physical dimensions come in at 178.5 mm tall, 83.1 mm wide, and 17.9 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 265.5 cm³, and it weighs 395 g — a substantial figure that reflects its hardened construction. The device does not feature a folding form factor.

The Doogee S100 uses a 6.58″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2408 px resolution and a pixel density of 401 ppi, delivering a sharp image across its sizable panel. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and interaction, and the screen is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Doogee S100 is driven by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration — two performance cores at 2.2 GHz and six efficiency cores at 2 GHz — running 8 threads with big.LITTLE and HMP support, and a TDP of 5W with a maximum operating temperature of 95 °C. It is paired with 12GB of DDR4 RAM at 4266 MHz across two memory channels, offering up to 17.1 GB/s of memory bandwidth, and 256GB of eMMC 5.2 internal storage. The Mali G57 GPU runs at 950 MHz with a turbo of 2133 MHz, supports DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, and can drive up to two displays simultaneously. Benchmark results include a Geekbench 6 single-core score of 729 and multi-core score of 1,979, a 3DMark Wild Life score of 1,230, a 3DMark Wild Life Extreme score of 344, and a PCMark Work 3.0 performance score of 9,435 with a battery endurance result of 1,095 minutes. The chipset also features integrated LTE and TrustZone security support.

The rear camera system consists of three lenses — a 108 MP main sensor at f/1.8, a 20 MP lens also at f/1.8, and a 16 MP lens at f/2.2 — all using CMOS sensors without back-illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection for stills, continuous autofocus during video, and touch autofocus, though there is no optical image stabilization and no optical zoom. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed is not available. Video recording tops out at 1440p at 30 fps with slow-motion support, while HDR mode and burst shooting are also on board; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. The dual-tone LED flash uses two LEDs for stills and video lighting. Panorama shooting is available in-camera, but 360-degree panorama and RAW capture are not. The 32 MP single-lens front camera sits at f/2.0 and is not positioned under the display; it has no front-facing flash.

The device runs Android 12 and includes a range of privacy controls, such as clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking; cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. On the usability side, it supports dark mode, extra dim mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, widgets, sharing intents, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. Offline voice recognition and voice commands are both supported, as is on-device machine learning, multi-user operation, phone tracking, and Live Text for selecting text from images. Features not present include focus modes, a media picker, Wi-Fi password sharing, battery health check, app offloading, notification permissions controls, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC. OS updates do not come directly from the vendor.

The Doogee S100 is equipped with a 10800 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 66W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, but the battery is not removable and reverse wireless charging is not supported.

The audio configuration of the Doogee S100 is notably limited — there is no 3.5 mm headset jack and no stereo speaker setup. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec standards are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC. A built-in radio is also absent.

The Doogee S100 supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) — backward compatible with Wi-Fi 4 and 5 — alongside Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC; 5G is not supported, and the device is not DLNA-certified. Wired connectivity is handled through a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and there is no HDMI output. Cellular download speeds reach up to 650 Mbit/s with upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s, and an external memory slot is available for storage expansion. Location and motion sensing is covered by GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are all absent. Security options include a fingerprint scanner, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Features such as satellite SOS, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are not included, and no stylus is provided.

The Doogee S100 includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not fitted with sapphire glass.
