Doogee S100 Ultra

The Doogee S100 Ultra features a rugged build rated at IP68, confirming full waterproof protection against dust and water ingress. It measures 178.5 mm in height, 83.1 mm in width, and 27.3 mm in thickness, with a total volume of approximately 404.95 cm³. The device weighs 400 g and does not support a folding form factor.

The Doogee S100 Ultra uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.58 inches, delivering a resolution of 1080 x 2408 px at a pixel density of 401 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother motion and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or Always-On Display functionality, and there is no secondary screen included.

The Doogee S100 Ultra is driven by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz, supported by 8 threads, big.LITTLE technology, and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). It is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 4266 MHz across 2 memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s and storage via eMMC 5.2 at 256 GB capacity. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo frequency of 2133 MHz, 32 shading units, and support for up to 2 displays, DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The chipset includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, with a thermal design power of 5W and a rated CPU temperature ceiling of 95 °C. Geekbench 6 results come in at 729 for single-core and 1979 for multi-core performance.

The Doogee S100 Ultra features a triple rear camera system led by a 108 MP main sensor at f/1.8, accompanied by a 20 MP lens at f/1.8 and a 16 MP lens at f/2.2, all using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. Video recording reaches up to 1440p at 30 fps, with support for slow-motion recording, continuous autofocus during video, and phase-detection autofocus for stills. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, touch autofocus, and in-camera panorama, though 360-degree panorama, RAW capture, manual shutter speed, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. The rear flash uses a dual-tone LED setup with two LEDs, but there is no RGB flash. On the front, a single 16 MP camera sits at f/2.0 without a front-facing flash, a secondary lens, or an under-display placement.

The Doogee S100 Ultra runs Android 12, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, voice commands, offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device position tracking. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, widgets, sharing intents, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, live text selection from images, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. Features absent from the software include focus modes, a media picker, Wi-Fi password sharing, battery health check, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC; direct OS updates from the vendor are also not provided.

The Doogee S100 Ultra houses a 22000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, and a charger is included in the box. It supports 66W wired fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging, though reverse wireless charging is not available. The battery is not removable.

The Doogee S100 Ultra has a notably limited audio feature set. It does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, or a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec standards are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Doogee S100 Ultra supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, with cellular download speeds reaching 650 Mbits/s and upload speeds of 150 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes an external memory slot for expandable storage. For navigation and positioning, it features GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, and an accelerometer, while a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Features absent from the device include an infrared sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, HDMI output, DLNA certification, satellite SOS, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector, and no stylus is included.

The Doogee S100 Ultra includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel is used.
