Doogee S200

The Doogee S200 is built with a rugged chassis and carries an IP68 waterproof rating, confirming full protection against dust and sustained water immersion. It operates reliably across an impressive thermal range, from -30°C up to 70°C, making it suitable for use in extreme environments. The device measures 179.5 mm tall, 82.5 mm wide, and 16 mm thick, with a total volume of 236.94 cm³ and a weight of 364 g — figures that reflect its reinforced construction. It does not fold, maintaining a conventional fixed-body form factor throughout.

The Doogee S200 features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 392 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On mode, and it lacks branded damage-resistant glass. Notably, the device also includes a secondary circular screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 px, offering an additional display surface alongside the main panel.

The Doogee S200 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 2.6 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and a TDP of 5W. It is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 3200 MHz across 4 memory channels, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB, and 256 GB of internal storage expandable up to 2000 GB externally. Graphics are handled by the Mali G68 MP4 with 4 execution units, 64 shading units, a clock speed of 950 MHz, and a turbo frequency of 900 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The chipset includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, NX bit, TrustZone, multithreading, and a 2 MB L3 cache, with full 64-bit support. Benchmark results place the AnTuTu score at 570,000, while Geekbench 6 returns 936 single-core and 2257 multi-core.

The Doogee S200 features a triple-lens rear camera system at 100, 20, and 2 MP, using a CMOS sensor and supporting phase-detection autofocus for stills as well as continuous autofocus during video recording. The rear setup is backed by a dual-tone LED flash with two LEDs, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. It supports HDR mode, burst shooting, touch autofocus, in-camera panoramas, timelapse, and slow-motion video recording, but does not shoot in RAW format, offer laser autofocus, 360-degree panoramas, HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, or 3D capture. On the front, a single 20 MP camera handles selfies without a dedicated LED flash or a secondary lens, and it is positioned on the front surface rather than under the display.

The Doogee S200 runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user access, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy controls are fairly broad, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. The OS also supports dynamic and manual theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, Live Text, a child lock, battery health checking, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Device tracking is supported, and Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, direct OS vendor updates, and Quick Start are not available.

The Doogee S200 houses a 10100 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, offering a substantial capacity for extended use. It supports 33W fast charging, helping to reduce downtime between charges, though wireless charging is not available. The battery is sealed into the device and cannot be removed by the user.

The Doogee S200 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, along with a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, meaning high-resolution and enhanced Bluetooth audio codecs are absent.

The Doogee S200 supports 5G connectivity with a cellular module, dual SIM capability, and Wi-Fi across three standards — Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) — alongside Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and an external memory slot is available for storage expansion. Maximum download and upload speeds reach 2770 Mbits/s and 1250 Mbits/s respectively. For navigation and sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, while a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. The device does not include a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, HDMI output, DLNA certification, crash detection, satellite SOS, motion or optical tracking, a built-in projector, or a stylus.

The Doogee S200 includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
