Doogee S200X

The Doogee S200X is built with a rugged design and carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, confirming full waterproof capability. It is engineered to function across an operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, reflecting its suitability for harsh environmental conditions. The device measures 179.5 mm in height, 82.5 mm in width, and 16 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 236.94 cm³ and a weight of 364 g. It does not support a folding form factor, maintaining a conventional fixed-body construction.

The Doogee S200X features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 392 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and it lacks branded damage-resistant glass. Notably, the device also includes a secondary screen with a resolution of 466 x 466px, offering an additional display surface alongside the main panel.

The Doogee S200X is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with a 5W TDP and an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.6 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 3200 MHz across 4 memory channels, a maximum supported memory amount of 16GB, and 512GB of internal storage that can be expanded by up to 2TB via external memory. Graphics are handled by the Mali G68 MP4 GPU, clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo frequency of 900 MHz, 4 execution units, 64 shading units, and support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The chipset also integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, NX bit, ARM TrustZone, and includes a 2MB L3 cache. Benchmark results place the device at an AnTuTu score of 570,000, with Geekbench 6 scores of 936 single-core and 2257 multi-core.

The Doogee S200X features a multi-lens rear camera system combining 100MP, 20MP, and 2MP sensors, all using a CMOS sensor without a back-illuminated sensor. Autofocus options include phase-detection autofocus for photos and continuous autofocus during video recording, while touch autofocus is also supported; laser autofocus is not present. The rear camera is complemented by a dual-tone LED flash with two LEDs, though an RGB flash is not included. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not available. Shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video recording, while 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D photo or video capture are not supported. The 20MP front camera is a single-lens unit positioned on the front of the device — not under the display — and does not have a dedicated front-facing flash.

The Doogee S200X runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Privacy-related features include clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and app offloading are not included. Usability features cover split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, widgets, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they are downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing and Quick Start are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, nor can it function as a PC. Battery health check and device position tracking round out the software feature set.

The Doogee S200X houses a 10100 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 33W fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups compared to standard charging rates. A battery level indicator is present to keep the user informed of remaining charge. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Doogee S200X includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, along with a built-in FM radio. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs, with aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC all absent.

The Doogee S200X supports 5G connectivity alongside a dual SIM configuration and Wi-Fi across three standards: Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are both present, while the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0; HDMI output is not available. Cellular download speeds reach up to 2770 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 1250 Mbits/s. An external memory slot is included for storage expansion. Location and motion sensing is covered by GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, though a barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, and ANT+ support are absent. Security options include a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition, iris scanning, and a stylus are not part of the package. Crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are also not featured.

The Doogee S200X includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display are part of the design.
