The Ducky One X Mini Wireless is a mechanical gaming keyboard built around a compact 60% layout with a standard profile and gasket mount construction. It supports three connection modes — 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB — and includes a detachable cable, making it flexible for both wired and wireless use. The keyboard operates at a 1000 Hz polling rate and offers up to 100 hours of battery life on a wireless charge. Physically, it measures 308 mm wide, 124 mm tall, and 39 mm thick, with a total weight of 918 g. It is not designed for Mac, and its layout is not Mac-specific.
The keyboard features a plastic case paired with a steel plate, and is available in two color options: black and white. It includes full RGB backlighting across the keys, with adjustable feet to modify the typing angle. No wrist rest is included in the package.
The keyboard uses Ducky Inductive switches, a Hall effect linear switch with a 40 g actuation force and a total travel distance of 3.5 mm. The actuation point is adjustable anywhere between 0.1 mm and 3.5 mm, giving users precise control over when each keypress registers. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing them to be replaced without soldering.
The keyboard supports rapid trigger, dual actuation, adjustable actuation, and analog input, making it well-equipped for precision-focused use cases where fine control over keypress behavior matters. Full N-key rollover (NKRO) is also included, ensuring every simultaneous keypress is registered reliably. On the other hand, the board does not offer USB passthrough, a built-in display, or support for QMK, ZMK, or VIA firmware customization.
The keyboard uses an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement and PBT double-shot keycaps in an OEM profile. Media controls are accessible via the Fn key rather than dedicated keys, and there is no rotary dial present on the board.
