The Ducky One X Wireless is a full-size (100%) gaming mechanical keyboard with a standard profile and gasket mount construction, available in both wireless and wired configurations through 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB connections. It operates at a 1000 Hz polling rate and offers a rated battery life of 100 hours, with a detachable cable included for wired use. The keyboard is not designed specifically for Mac. Physically, it measures 452 mm wide, 150 mm in height, and 41 mm thick, with a total weight of 1605 g.
The Ducky One X Wireless features a plastic case in black with a steel plate, giving the build a solid internal structure beneath its exterior shell. It includes RGB backlighting with a north-facing LED direction, which positions the lights to shine toward the top of the keycaps. Adjustable feet are included to let users tilt the board to their preferred typing angle, though no wrist rest is bundled in the box.
The Ducky One X Wireless uses Ducky Inductive hall effect switches with a linear feel and an actuation force of 40 g. The actuation point is adjustable anywhere between 0.1 mm and 3.5 mm, with a total travel distance of 3.5 mm. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing them to be replaced without soldering.
The Ducky One X Wireless supports rapid trigger, dual actuation, adjustable actuation, and analog input, making it a feature-rich option for users who want precise control over how their keystrokes register. Full NKRO (N-key rollover) is also included, ensuring every simultaneous keypress is recognized. On the other hand, the board does not offer USB passthrough, a built-in display, or support for QMK, ZMK, or VIA firmware.
The Ducky One X Wireless follows an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement and uses PBT double-shot keycaps in an OEM profile, which provides a familiar and widely used key shape. Media functions are accessible via the Fn key rather than through dedicated media keys, and the board does not include a rotary dial.
