The ECS H610H7-M2 is built around the LGA 1700 socket and is compatible with the H610 chipset, housed in a Micro-ATX form factor measuring 229 × 213 mm. It accommodates a single CPU and does not include an integrated CPU or integrated graphics support. Features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RGB lighting, dual BIOS, and easy CMOS reset are absent, and the board is not designed for overclocking. It carries a 3-year warranty, providing a reasonable coverage period for standard desktop use.
The board supports DDR4 memory across two slots, with a maximum capacity of 64GB and a peak speed of 3200 MHz. It operates in a dual-channel configuration, which allows both slots to work in tandem for improved memory bandwidth. ECC memory is not supported, limiting usage to standard non-error-correcting modules.
The rear I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports for peripheral connectivity, while USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 4, Thunderbolt 3, and Thunderbolt 4 are all absent. Display output is covered by an HDMI port, one DisplayPort, and a VGA connector, with DVI and eSATA not present. Networking is handled by a single RJ45 port, and a PS/2 port is also available for legacy input devices.
Storage connectivity is provided through four SATA 3 connectors and two M.2 sockets, while SATA 2, mSATA, and U.2 are not available. For internal USB expansion, the board offers two USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers and two USB 2.0 headers, with an additional two USB 3.0 expansion ports also present. Thermal management is supported by two fan headers, and a TPM connector is included for security module integration.
The board offers a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a primary expansion card such as a discrete GPU, accompanied by one PCIe x1 slot for smaller add-in cards. No PCIe 5.0, PCIe 3.0, PCIe 2.0 x16, PCIe x4, PCIe x8, or legacy PCI slots are present, keeping the expansion options concise in line with the Micro-ATX layout.
The board supports 6-channel audio output, catering to standard surround sound setups, with three audio connectors available on the rear I/O. S/PDIF Out is not included, so digital optical or coaxial audio output is not an option.
The ECS H610H7-M2 does not support RAID 0+1, meaning combined striping and mirroring configurations are not available on this board.
