The Edifier Huazai New Cyber has a total volume of 10,698.954 cm³ and measures 241 mm in height, 294 mm in width, and 151 mm in thickness. It houses two drivers, each 52 mm in size, alongside a built-in subwoofer measuring 101.6 mm. The unit features RGB lighting and a 2.8″ screen, and comes with a detachable cable for added convenience. It does not include a neodymium magnet, water resistance, touch screen, remote control, travel bag, and is not a neckband-style speaker.
The speaker delivers 2 x 30W of audio output power across a frequency range spanning 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz, and includes both a built-in subwoofer and a passive radiator to reinforce low-end reproduction. There are no microphones on board, so neither standard nor noise-canceling mic functionality is available. Magnetic shielding is also absent from this model.
The Edifier Huazai New Cyber connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 6 with a maximum range of 10 m, and also offers an AUX input and two USB ports, one of which is USB Type-C, for wired connectivity options. NFC pairing, a 3.5 mm audio jack socket, and a 3.5 mm male connector are not present. On the audio codec side, the speaker does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, aptX Low Latency, LDAC, or AAC. Streaming protocols such as AirPlay, Chromecast, Auracast, and Bluetooth LE Audio are equally absent, and the unit lacks Wi-Fi, Ethernet, DLNA certification, an external memory slot, and a microphone input.
The speaker supports wireless operation and can be controlled via a smartphone, while voice prompts provide audio feedback during use. A notable addition is its ability to function as a power bank, allowing it to charge other devices. Fast pairing, voice commands, a mute function, a sleep timer, and a built-in radio are not part of its feature set.
The unit includes a built-in display for on-device information at a glance, though it does not support stereo pairing with a second unit.
