The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip uses an open-ear fit and operates as a fully true wireless design with no cables or neckband, and wingtips are not included. It carries an IP65 ingress protection rating, making it resistant to water and dust. The earbuds feature stereo speakers but do not include RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip is equipped with a 12 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. It does not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo. The drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip offers 7 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total usage to 28 hours. The earbuds take 1.5 hours to fully charge and feature a rechargeable battery along with a battery level indicator. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and USB Type-C is available for wired charging. The earbuds do not support fast pairing or NFC pairing, and no advanced audio codecs are present — LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are all absent. Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast are likewise not supported.
The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip supports multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset, with a mute function and voice prompts included. Fast charging is supported, and a control panel is placed on the device itself, though there is no in-line control panel. A travel bag is included in the package. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote.
The Edifier Huazai Zero Clip includes a noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice communication.
