Passive noise reduction is present, helping to block out ambient sound through the physical seal of the in-ear fit, though active noise cancellation is not supported. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not available, and the earbuds do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver configuration.
The Edifier X1 Lite offer 8 hours of battery life per charge, with the accompanying charging case providing an additional 18 hours, bringing the total combined playback time to 26 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds feature a battery level indicator so users can keep track of remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Edifier X1 Lite connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 and have a maximum range of 10 meters, with an audio latency of 60 ms. USB Type-C is used for wired charging. Advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family — covering aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — are not supported, nor is Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast. The Edifier X1 Lite support fast charging and can function as a headset for calls, with a mute function available during use. Ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pausing, notification readout, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter function are not part of the feature set.
