The Eggel ComfortBuds S feature an in-ear fit and weigh just 6 g per earbud, making them a compact true wireless option with no cables or neckband. Wingtips are included to help keep the earbuds in place during use. The design incorporates stereo speakers but does not include RGB lighting, a UV light, or any display component.
The Eggel ComfortBuds S handle noise management through both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, offering two distinct layers of sound isolation. Audio is driven by a 6 mm driver unit with a frequency range spanning 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and the driver does not use a neodymium magnet.
The Eggel ComfortBuds S carry a 35 mAh rechargeable battery per earbud, delivering up to 7 hours of playback or 5 hours with ANC active. The 250 mAh charging case extends total listening time to 21 hours combined, and a full charge takes 1.5 hours. A battery level indicator is included to help track remaining power, though the case does not support wireless or solar charging.
The Eggel ComfortBuds S connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2 with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 50 ms. Charging is handled through USB Type-C, though the earbuds do not support fast pairing or NFC pairing. On the codec side, none of the advanced options are present — LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX in any of its variants, LE Audio, and Auracast are all absent.
The Eggel ComfortBuds S support fast charging and can function as a headset, complete with a mute function and voice prompts for audio feedback. Controls are placed on the device itself rather than an in-line panel, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not offer in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification readout, a temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote.
The Eggel ComfortBuds S are equipped with 4 microphones and include noise-canceling microphone technology to help reduce background noise during calls and voice interactions.
