It includes a privacy shutter for blocking the lens when not in use, as well as a tripod mount for flexible positioning. The camera does not feature a video light or a motion sensor.
The camera records video at 2160p and 30 frames per second, with a field of view of 73° that can be adjusted to better frame the scene. Continuous autofocus keeps the subject sharp during recording, and automatic light correction helps maintain consistent exposure in varying lighting conditions. First-party live streaming support is included, while vertical video recording is not available.
The eMeet SmartCam S600 uses an 8 MP CMOS sensor as its imaging foundation, providing the optical basis for its video capture capabilities. The lens does not feature branded damage-resistant glass.
The SmartCam S600 includes two built-in noise-canceling microphones for capturing voice during calls and recordings. The microphone configuration is mono rather than stereo, and the camera does not have a built-in speaker.
The S600 connects via USB Type-C with a 1.5 m detachable cable, keeping the setup tidy and replaceable if needed. It is compatible with Windows and macOS, but does not support Android, iOS, or Chrome OS. The camera lacks Bluetooth, an HDMI output, a 3.5 mm headset jack, and gesture control.
