The Epson Lifestudio Pop Plus uses a traditional lamp light source rather than laser, with a rated lamp life of 20,000 hours in eco mode and an operating power consumption of 101 W. In terms of acoustics, it produces 28 dB of noise during standard operation, dropping to a quieter 23 dB in eco mode. The unit has a compact physical footprint, measuring 200 mm wide, 190 mm deep, and 70 mm tall, with a total volume of 2,660 cm³ and a weight of 1,600 g. It does not include a dedicated smartphone app, and the product comes with a 2-year warranty.
The projector outputs at 4K resolution with a 10-bit color depth and supports HDR10, though HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG are not supported. It can project images up to 150″ at a minimum throw distance of 0.8 m, and is capable of displaying 3D content when used with compatible glasses. Focus is handled via motorized control, while manual focus is not available and zoom must be adjusted manually as motorized zoom is absent.
The projector offers a single HDMI port and one USB port for wired connections, while lacking RJ45, VGA, DVI, and S/PDIF outputs. On the wireless side, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay, and holds DLNA certification for network-based media streaming.
