The Fire Pods Zeus use an in-ear fit and are fully true wireless, with no cables or neckband involved. Stereo speakers are present in both earbuds, and wingtips are not included. An IPX4 ingress protection rating means the earbuds can handle sweat and light moisture exposure without issue.
The Fire Pods Zeus cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and provide passive noise reduction through their in-ear fit, which helps attenuate ambient sound without any active processing. Active noise cancellation is not present, and the drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Fire Pods Zeus offer 7 hours of battery life per charge, with the rechargeable charging case extending the total available playback to 33 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator lets users keep tabs on remaining power. Wireless charging is not supported, so the case must be recharged via a wired connection.
The Fire Pods Zeus connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 40 ms. No advanced audio codecs are supported — LDAC, AAC, LDHC, and the full range of aptX variants including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are all absent. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available either. The case charges over USB Type-C, and the connection itself is entirely wireless with no wired audio option indicated.
The Fire Pods Zeus support fast charging and can be used as a headset, with a mute function, voice prompts, and on-device controls all included for straightforward call and playback management. There is no in-line control panel, as all physical controls sit on the earbuds themselves. A travel bag is included in the box. Ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, and a body temperature sensor are not part of the feature set.
The Fire Pods Zeus feature four microphones with noise-canceling microphone technology, designed to help filter out background sound and deliver clearer voice pickup during calls.
