Fossibot F105

The Fossibot F105 features a rugged build designed to withstand demanding conditions, backed by an IP68 ingress protection rating that classifies it as fully waterproof. It measures 177.7 mm in height, 84 mm in width, and 17.3 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 258.23 cm³ and a weight of 375 g. The device does not support a folding form factor, maintaining a conventional fixed-body construction throughout.

The Fossibot F105 uses a 6.74″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, delivering a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for added resistance against scratches and impacts. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Fossibot F105 is driven by a Mediatek MT8768 chipset fabricated on a 12 nm process, featuring an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2 GHz and 4 x 1.5 GHz via big.LITTLE technology, alongside a PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 650 MHz. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 92,300. It supports 64-bit processing, executes 128 bits at a time via NEON, and includes integrated graphics with VFP version 4. Security is reinforced through both NX bit and TrustZone support.

The Fossibot F105 features a multi-lens rear camera system with a 13 MP main sensor alongside two 0.3 MP auxiliary lenses, using a CMOS sensor and capturing video at 1080p 30 fps. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while HDR mode, burst shooting, and in-camera panorama are also supported; however, optical image stabilization, slow-motion recording, manual shutter speed, RAW output, timelapse, and 360-degree panorama are absent. The rear flash uses two LED units without dual-tone or RGB configuration, and there is no optical zoom. On the front, a 5 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.4 aperture handles selfies, without a front-facing flash or an under-display placement, and HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported on either camera.

The Fossibot F105 runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, widgets, sharing intents, a child lock, and an extra dim mode. It also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text for selecting text from images, device position tracking, multi-user support, and the ability to play games while they are downloading. Features not included are Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Fossibot F105 is equipped with a 10300 mAh rechargeable battery that supports fast charging at up to 10W via a wired connection. A battery level indicator is included, giving users a clear read of remaining charge at a glance. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Fossibot F105 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio output and a built-in FM radio for over-the-air listening. The device does not feature stereo speakers, and none of the high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Fossibot F105 supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a cellular module, with dual SIM card support but no 5G connectivity. It connects via USB Type-C using USB 2.0, and includes an external memory slot for expandable storage. Navigation is handled by GPS with Galileo support, and onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. A fingerprint scanner is present for biometric authentication, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. Features absent from the device include an infrared sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, HDMI output, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, a built-in projector, motion and optical tracking, and a stylus.

The Fossibot F105 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
