Fossibot F112 Pro

The Fossibot F112 Pro features a rugged, non-folding build with an IP68 waterproof rating, making it resistant to water and dust ingress. The device measures 181.89 mm in height, 83.57 mm in width, and 13.3 mm in thickness, with a total volume of approximately 202.17 cm³. It weighs 320 g, reflecting the more substantial construction typical of ruggedized handsets.

The Fossibot F112 Pro uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.88″ with a resolution of 720 x 1640 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, contributing to smoother on-screen motion. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, a secondary screen, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision.

The Fossibot F112 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an 8-core CPU running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE architecture, Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), and 8 threads with multithreading enabled. It is paired with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz, 256 GB of internal storage, and supports a maximum memory amount of 12 GB, with a peak memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, with DirectX 12 support, while the CPU cache hierarchy consists of 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and achieves Geekbench 6 scores of 782 single-core and 2012 multi-core.

The Fossibot F112 Pro features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP main sensor and a 5 MP secondary lens, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Video recording tops out at 1440 x 30 fps, with support for slow-motion recording, continuous autofocus during video, and phase-detection autofocus for stills, though optical image stabilization and optical zoom are absent. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, and shooting modes include HDR, burst, touch autofocus, timelapse, and in-camera panorama, while RAW capture and manual shutter speed are not available. A single LED flash is present at the rear, with no dual-tone, RGB, or front-facing flash. The 16 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2.2 and is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording support on either camera.

The Fossibot F112 Pro runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multiple user accounts, offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, and device position tracking. Privacy controls include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking protection and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, an extra dim mode, and a media picker. Productivity-oriented features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, sharing intents, Live Text, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Fossibot F112 Pro is equipped with a 7150 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, giving users visibility into remaining charge. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Fossibot F112 Pro includes a built-in radio but omits a number of common audio features — there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, no stereo speaker setup, and no support for any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Fossibot F112 Pro supports 5G connectivity alongside a cellular module, dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Bluetooth 5.2, with a maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s. The device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes an external memory slot for storage expansion. NFC is present, and biometric security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. For navigation and sensing, the phone includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. Satellite SOS, crash detection, ANT+, DLNA certification, HDMI output, a built-in projector, and a stylus are likewise not part of the feature set.

The Fossibot F112 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
