The Grooves Alpha follow a standard earbud fit and operate as true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or neckband involved. The design includes RGB lighting and stereo speakers, adding a visual element alongside dual-channel audio output. Wingtips are not included, and the earbuds offer no water resistance rating, so they are not suited for wet conditions.
The Grooves Alpha use a 13 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, so ambient sound will pass through during use. A neodymium magnet is not part of the driver configuration.
The Grooves Alpha are equipped with a rechargeable battery offering 6 hours of battery life, with a full charge taking 1.5 hours via wired connection — wireless charging is not supported. The accompanying charging case carries a 400 mAh battery for top-ups on the go. A battery level indicator is built in, allowing users to keep track of remaining charge without guesswork.
The Grooves Alpha connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and support the AAC codec for audio transmission. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available, and the earbuds do not support any aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice — nor LDAC or LDHC. USB Type-C is used for wired charging, and the earbuds can be used wirelessly as their primary mode of operation.
The Grooves Alpha support fast charging and can function as a headset, with a mute function and voice prompts available during use. Controls are handled through a panel placed on the device itself, while an in-line control panel is not included. A travel bag is bundled in the box, and the earbuds come with a 2-year warranty. Features such as ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device function, notification readout, and a body temperature sensor are not part of the package.
The Grooves Alpha feature a 4-microphone array with noise-canceling capability, helping to reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice interactions.
