The Grooves Fort feature an in-ear fit and operate as true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or wires of any kind. They include stereo speakers and RGB lighting, adding a visual element to the design. Wingtips, a neckband, a UV light, and a display are not part of the design.
The Grooves Fort use a 13 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Passive noise reduction is included to help limit unwanted ambient sound, though active noise cancellation is not supported. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not available, and the driver does not use a neodymium magnet.
The Grooves Fort are equipped with a rechargeable battery offering 8 hours of playback per charge, while the 400mAh charging case extends total battery life to 72 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Grooves Fort connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and support the AAC codec for audio transmission. USB Type-C is used for wired charging. Fast pairing, NFC pairing, and Auracast are not supported, and the earbuds do not include any aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice. LDAC, LDHC, and Bluetooth LE Audio are likewise absent.
The Grooves Fort support fast charging and can be used as a headset, making them suitable for calls alongside music listening. A mute function, voice prompts, and a device-based control panel are all included, and a travel bag comes in the box. In-ear detection, ambient sound mode, an in-line control panel, notification reading, a find device feature, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are not available.
