The H2O Audio Tri 2 Pro feature an open-ear, bone conduction fit and are built as neckband earbuds with wingtips included for added stability. They carry stereo speakers and an IPX8 waterproof rating with a depth tolerance of 3.6 m, making them fully waterproof for aquatic use. The earbuds do not include RGB lighting, a UV light, or a display, keeping the physical design focused and uncluttered.
The Tri 2 Pro covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20000 Hz and does not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, which is consistent with its open-ear bone conduction design. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not supported, and the earbuds do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver configuration.
The Tri 2 Pro is equipped with a rechargeable battery rated for 9 hours of use, with a full charge taking 2 hours to complete. A battery level indicator is included so users can monitor remaining charge at a glance. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Tri 2 Pro connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters. It does not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, or USB Type-C connectivity. On the audio codec side, LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full range of aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — are all absent, and neither Bluetooth LE Audio nor Auracast is supported.
The Tri 2 Pro supports fast charging and includes 8 GB of internal storage, a mute function, voice prompts, and a control panel placed on the device itself. It can be used as a headset for calls, though it does not offer an in-line control panel, ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, or the ability to read notifications. A find device feature, travel bag, body temperature sensor, and built-in camera remote are also not part of the package.
