The Haylou X1 Plus are true wireless earbuds with a standard earbud fit, weighing just 7.6 g per unit. They deliver stereo sound and come without a neckband design, wingtips, RGB lighting, a display, or UV light. The earbuds carry no water resistance rating, making them unsuitable for use in wet conditions.
The Haylou X1 Plus use a 12 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20000 Hz. They do not feature active noise cancellation, passive noise isolation, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet.
The Haylou X1 Plus carry a 35 mAh rechargeable battery per earbud, providing up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge, with the 300 mAh charging case adding a further 18 hours for a combined total of 24 hours. Charging takes 1.5 hours and is handled via wired connection, as wireless charging and solar charging are not supported. A battery level indicator is built in to help keep track of remaining charge.
The Haylou X1 Plus connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC codec support, a maximum range of 10 m, and an audio latency of 65 ms. The charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging. Higher-quality audio codecs including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, LDAC, and LDHC are not supported, and neither are Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are also absent.
The Haylou X1 Plus support fast charging and can function as a headset with a mute function available for calls. Controls are handled through an on-device control panel, and voice prompts are included for audio feedback. A travel bag is included in the box for storage and portability. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a body temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
The Haylou X1 Plus feature a 4-microphone setup with noise-canceling capability, designed to help reduce background noise during calls and voice communication.
