The HMD Dub X50 covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20000 Hz and relies on passive noise isolation to reduce ambient sound, as it does not feature active noise cancellation. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not supported, and the earbuds do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver configuration.
The HMD Dub X50 earbuds offer 17.9 hours of battery life from their 70 mAh built-in cells, while the 600 mAh charging case extends total playback to 52.1 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds support a rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not available on this model.
