There are no wingtips, RGB lighting, a display, or UV light included in the design, and they are not neckband-style earbuds.
The HMD Dub X50 Pro support both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of noise management during use. The frequency response spans the full standard audible range, from 20 Hz up to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing, and they do not use a neodymium magnet in their driver configuration.
The HMD Dub X50 Pro are equipped with a rechargeable 70 mAh battery per earbud, delivering up to 15.8 hours of battery life on a single charge, while the 600 mAh charging case extends the total available playback time to 44.2 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. The earbuds do not support wireless charging and there is no solar power option available.
The HMD Dub X50 Pro connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and support fast pairing for quicker device setup. Charging is handled through a USB Type-C port. On the codec side, the earbuds do not support LDAC, LDHC, AAC, Auracast, or any variant of aptX, including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice. Bluetooth LE Audio and NFC pairing are also not available.
