Honor Win RT

It carries an IP69 rating, classifying it as waterproof and capable of withstanding submersion to 1.5 m, though it does not feature a rugged construction.

The Honor Win RT features a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, backed by branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. It supports a 185Hz refresh rate and is HDR10-compatible, though it does not support HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. The display also includes an Always-On Display mode, while there is no secondary screen on the device.

The Honor Win RT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and a TDP of 8.2W. It pairs 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 5300 MHz — expandable up to 24GB — with 1024GB of internal storage, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s across two memory channels with ECC support. The Adreno 830 GPU runs at 1100 MHz with 1536 shading units and supports up to two displays, along with DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, multithreading, and a cache hierarchy consisting of 192 KB L1, 12 MB L2, and 8 MB L3. Geekbench 6 results stand at 3234 single-core and 10059 multi-core, and the platform supports 64-bit processing throughout.

The Honor Win RT features a dual-lens rear camera system with 50 MP and 12 MP sensors at f/2.2 and f/2.0 apertures respectively, backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and phase-detection autofocus for stills alongside continuous autofocus during video. It supports 4K video recording at 60 fps, slow-motion capture, timelapse, HDR mode, burst mode, panorama, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone, RGB, or front-facing flash. The front camera offers a 50 MP sensor at f/2.0 as a single-lens setup, positioned above the display rather than under it, and lacks its own flash. The Honor Win RT runs Android 16 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Usability features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, the ability to play games while downloading, and app offloading. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, multi-user accounts, a child lock, and a battery health check, and is noted as free and open source. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Honor Win RT is fitted with a 10000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, and a battery level indicator is included. The battery is non-removable, and neither wireless charging nor reverse wireless charging is available on this device.

The Honor Win RT includes stereo speakers and supports a comprehensive range of Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, though LDAC is not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack on the device, and it does not feature a built-in radio.

The Honor Win RT supports 5G connectivity with a dual SIM configuration, Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, and Bluetooth 6, alongside NFC and a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0. Download speeds reach up to 10000 MBits/s and upload up to 3500 MBits/s, while external memory expansion and HDMI output are not available. The fingerprint scanner serves as the primary biometric method, as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Motion tracking, optical tracking, ANT+, a heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, and a built-in projector are all absent from this device, and no stylus is included.

The Honor Win RT includes a video light for recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
