The House of Marley Little Bird adopts a true wireless, in-ear fit with no cables or neckband connecting the two earbuds, and wingtips are not included. The design incorporates stereo speakers for left-right audio separation, while keeping things minimal with no RGB lighting, UV light, or display. For durability during physical activity, the earbuds carry an IPX4 rating, which means they are protected against sweat and light moisture exposure.
The House of Marley Little Bird uses a 10 mm driver unit and covers the full standard frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with an impedance of 16 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 102.5 dB/mW. Passive noise reduction is present, helping to block out ambient sound through the physical seal of the in-ear fit, though active noise cancellation is not included. The earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and the driver does not use a neodymium magnet.
The House of Marley Little Bird earbuds offer 6 hours of battery life per charge, with the accompanying charging case providing an additional 18 hours, bringing the total potential usage to 24 hours before needing a power source. The rechargeable battery takes 1.5 hours to fully charge, and a battery level indicator is on hand to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The House of Marley Little Bird connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and charges through a USB Type-C port. Advanced audio codecs are not on board — the earbuds lack support for LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice. Similarly, Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, NFC pairing, and fast pairing are all absent from the feature set.
The House of Marley Little Bird supports fast charging and can function as a headset, with controls placed directly on the earbud device itself rather than on an in-line cable panel. A mute function and voice prompts are both included, and a travel bag is provided in the box for portability. The earbuds come with a 2-year warranty. On the other hand, ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification readout, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are all absent from the feature set.
The House of Marley Little Bird is equipped with two built-in microphones, both of which feature noise-canceling capability to help reduce background sound during calls and voice interactions.
