The Huawei Enjoy 70 has a standard rectangular, non-folding form factor with no rugged reinforcement or water resistance rating. It measures 168.3 mm tall, 77.7 mm wide, and 8.9 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 116.38 cm³. At 207 g, it sits on the heavier end of the typical smartphone weight range, which is consistent with its large physical footprint.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 uses an LCD IPS touchscreen measuring 6.75″, delivering a resolution of 720 x 1600 px at a pixel density of 260 ppi. The panel supports an Always-On Display mode but does not include HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no branded damage-resistant glass or secondary screen. The device has no second display and relies solely on this single touch-enabled panel.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710A chipset, built on a 12 nm process with 5,500 million transistors and an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.2 GHz and 4 x 1.7 GHz using big.LITTLE technology across 8 threads. It comes with 8GB of RAM running at 2200 MHz across 2 memory channels, paired with 256GB of internal storage and support for up to 256GB of additional external memory, though the maximum addressable memory amount is listed at 6GB. The integrated GPU operates at 650 MHz with DirectX 12 support, while the SoC includes integrated LTE, NX bit, and TrustZone security features; the chip supports 64-bit processing and executes 128 bits at a time via NEON, with a 64 KB L1 cache and VFP version 4, though ECC memory is not supported. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not available; additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, timelapse, and in-camera panorama, while 360-degree panorama and 3D capture are not supported. The front camera offers an 8MP sensor at f/2.0, positioned in a conventional location rather than under the display, and it operates as a single-lens unit without a front-facing flash.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 offers a fairly well-rounded software feature set, including dark mode, customizable notifications, widgets, voice commands, sharing intents, and a child lock for restricted usage. It supports multi-user access and split-screen multitasking, along with device tracking, battery health monitoring, and camera and microphone privacy controls. However, the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor and cannot be used as a PC.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 22.5W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) alongside Bluetooth 5.1, though 5G, NFC, and DLNA are not available. Wired connectivity is handled through a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with maximum download and upload speeds of 600 Mbits/s and 150 Mbits/s respectively, and there is no HDMI output. An external memory slot is included for storage expansion. The Huawei Enjoy 70 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
