Huawei Nova 13i

It carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, giving it a degree of water resistance without qualifying as a rugged build.

The Huawei Nova 13i features a 6.76-inch LED-backlit LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 px and a pixel density of 391 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch sampling rate for responsive interaction, and includes an Always-On Display function along with HDR10 support. The screen does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, a secondary display, Dolby Vision, or HDR10+ compatibility.

The Huawei Nova 13i is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, built on a 6nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.4 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz across 8 threads using big.LITTLE technology, and a TDP of 6W. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz across 2 memory channels with a maximum bandwidth of 14.9 GB/s, paired with 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. On the privacy side, it offers location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, clipboard warnings, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a media picker, Live Text, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, an extra dim mode, a child lock, and a battery health check. Games can be played while downloading, and the OS includes Wi-Fi password sharing is not available, nor are focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, direct OS vendor updates, or the ability to be used as a PC.

The Huawei Nova 13i is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and includes a battery level indicator. It supports 40W wired fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups, though wireless charging is not available.

The Huawei Nova 13i includes stereo speakers but does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. High-resolution and enhanced Bluetooth audio codecs — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC — are not supported.

The Huawei Nova 13i supports a cellular connection with dual SIM slots, download speeds of up to 390 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s, though 5G is not available. ANT+, DLNA, satellite SOS, crash detection, a stylus, and a built-in projector are also not supported.

The Huawei Nova 13i includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while the display is flat and does not use sapphire glass or e-paper technology.
