The Infinix AI Buds adopt a true wireless, in-ear design with no cables or neckband, and tip the scales at just 10 grams per earbud. They carry an IPX4 ingress protection rating, making them sweat resistant and suitable for use during physical activity, though they do not include wingtips for additional ear stability. Stereo speakers are built in, and the earbuds feature a display, while RGB lighting and UV light are absent from the design.
The Infinix AI Buds are equipped with 10 mm driver units and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full breadth of standard human hearing. Both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction are supported, giving the earbuds two layers of noise management. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not included, and the drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
Each earbud houses a rechargeable 45 mAh battery rated for 12 hours of playback, while the charging case adds a further 24 hours of backup capacity via its 620 mAh cell, bringing combined total use to 36 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and a battery level indicator is on hand to keep tabs on remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Infinix AI Buds connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4, offering a maximum range of 10 meters, and the charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging. Advanced audio codecs — including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family — are not supported, nor is Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are also absent, meaning the earbuds rely on standard Bluetooth pairing only.
The Infinix AI Buds include a notable set of practical features, among them a built-in translator, ambient sound mode, and a mute function, making them functional both for calls and general listening. They can be used as a headset and are controlled via a panel placed directly on the earbuds, though there is no in-line control panel. Voice prompts are supported, and fast charging is available for quick top-ups. A travel bag is included in the box, which adds a degree of portability for everyday carry. In/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote control function are all absent from this model.
The Infinix AI Buds feature a four-microphone array paired with noise-canceling microphone technology, designed to reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice input.
