Infinix GT 20 Pro

The Infinix GT 20 Pro has a conventional, non-folding form factor with dimensions of 164.3 x 75.4 x 8.2 mm and a weight of 194 g, giving it a volume of roughly 101.58 cm³. It carries an IP54 rating, which means it can handle dust and water splashes to a reasonable degree, though it is not built to rugged standards. The device is not classified as a rugged handset, so while everyday resistance to light moisture is covered, it is not designed for harsh or demanding environments.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi. The panel runs at a 144Hz refresh rate with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1300 nits. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ content, along with an Always-On Display mode, though Dolby Vision is not supported. The screen does not use branded damage-resistant glass and there is no secondary display on the device.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.1, 3 x 3, and 4 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technologies. It comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz across 4 memory channels, a maximum memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s, and 256 GB of internal storage, with support for up to 16 GB of RAM. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G610 MP6 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12 and OpenCL 2, while benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 894,000, Geekbench 6 multi-core and single-core scores of 3891 and 1224 respectively, a PCMark Work 3.0 performance score of 15,840 with a battery endurance result of 526 minutes, and a 3DMark Steel Nomad score of 630. The SoC also includes integrated LTE, a 4 MB L3 cache, a 6W TDP, TrustZone security, and NX bit support, with the platform operating in full 64-bit mode.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro sports a multi-lens rear camera system headlined by a 108 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by two additional 2 MP lenses, all built on a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Optical image stabilization is present, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is not available. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 60 fps, slow-motion capture, continuous autofocus during video, and timelapse, but does not offer HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while RAW capture and manual shutter speed are not supported; burst mode and in-camera panorama are both available. Four flash LEDs back up the rear camera, and there is no optical zoom. On the front, a single 32 MP camera sits behind the display glass — not under it — with an f/2.2 aperture, a dedicated LED flash, and HDR mode, though it lacks a dual-lens setup and 360° panorama shooting is not available on either camera.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, and a media picker, while focus modes and app offloading are not included. Useful day-to-day features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, battery health check, phone tracking, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing and Quick Start are absent, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, nor can it be used as a PC.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator, making it straightforward to keep track of remaining charge at a glance.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro includes stereo speakers and a built-in radio, but does not feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec options — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro supports 5G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, and accommodates two SIM cards with theoretical download and upload speeds of 4700 Mbits/s and 2500 Mbits/s respectively. The device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes NFC, while HDMI output and DLNA certification are absent. For navigation and location, it features GPS with Galileo support, and its sensor suite covers a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and infrared sensor; a barometer, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are not included. Biometric security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present, and no stylus is included. Expandable storage is available via an external memory slot, though emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and does not use sapphire glass or e-paper technology.
