The Infinix XE27 adopt an in-ear fit and operate as fully true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or neckband connecting the two earpieces. They carry an IPX4 ingress protection rating, making them resistant to sweat during physical activity. Each earbud functions as a stereo speaker, while the design omits wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and any onboard display, keeping the overall form straightforward and unadorned.
The Infinix XE27 feature both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of sound isolation from the surrounding environment. Audio is driven by a 10 mm driver unit with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and they offer no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing.
Each earbud holds a 46 mAh rechargeable battery delivering up to 5 hours of playback, while the charging case carries 460 mAh for an additional 23 hours, bringing the total combined endurance to 28 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. The XE27 do not support wireless charging and have no solar power capability.
The Infinix XE27 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and they charge through a USB Type-C port. The earbuds do not support fast pairing or NFC pairing, and no advanced audio codecs are available — there is no AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX in any of its variants, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast support.
The Infinix XE27 include an ambient sound mode for letting in environmental audio when needed, along with a mute function and voice prompts for hands-free feedback. They can be used as a headset for calls, and controls are handled via a panel placed directly on the earbuds rather than an in-line remote. Fast charging is supported, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not feature in/on-ear detection for automatic pause, cannot read notifications aloud, and have no body temperature sensor or built-in camera remote.
The Infinix XE27 are equipped with a quad-microphone setup that includes noise-canceling microphone technology, helping to reduce background noise during calls and voice interactions.
