Itel A100C (64GB / 3GB RAM)

The Itel A100C has a conventional, non-folding form factor with a thickness of 8.5 mm, keeping it reasonably slim for everyday handling. It does not feature a rugged build, so it lacks the reinforced construction found on devices designed for harsh environments.

The Itel A100C features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px and a pixel density of 267 ppi, delivering a reasonably clear image across its large panel. The display runs at a 90Hz refresh rate, which helps everyday interactions feel fluid. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and there is no support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, nor does it offer an Always-On Display mode or a secondary screen.

The Itel A100C is driven by the Unisoc T7100, an octa-core chipset built on a 28nm process that employs big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, pairing two cores at 1.6 GHz with six cores at 1.2 GHz across 12 threads, and carries a thermal design power of 9W. The SoC integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and includes TrustZone security, with graphics handled by the PowerVR GE8322 GPU running at 550 MHz with one execution unit, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. Memory configuration consists of 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 1800 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 8GB — alongside 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the cache hierarchy comprising 128 KB of L1, 2 MB of L2, and 1 MB of L3 cache. In Geekbench 6 testing, the chipset scores 164 in single-core and 725 in multi-core workloads.

The Itel A100C features a single-lens 8MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor, phase-detection autofocus, and touch autofocus, though it lacks a BSI sensor, optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and optical zoom. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video recording are also on board; manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30fps, without HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. A single LED flash is present on the rear, but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash and no front-facing flash. The 5MP front camera is a single-lens unit, not positioned under the display, and the camera system as a whole has no 3D photo or video capabilities.

The Itel A100C ships with Android 15, bringing a broad set of software features to the device. On the privacy side, it includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Customization options cover theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user support, a child lock, battery health check, and phone tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Itel A100C is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and comes with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor remaining charge at a glance. The device does not support fast charging, wireless charging, or reverse wireless charging.

The Itel A100C includes stereo speakers for audio output, but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning wired headphones would require an adapter. There is no radio tuner on board, and Bluetooth audio codec support is limited — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Itel A100C supports 4G LTE via a cellular module but does not include 5G connectivity. It accommodates two SIM cards and offers a USB Type-C port along with an external memory slot for storage expansion. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), with download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s; NFC, HDMI output, DLNA certification, and ANT+ are not supported. For biometric security, a fingerprint scanner is present, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are absent. Sensors include GPS and an accelerometer, but the device lacks a gyroscope, compass, barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and Galileo satellite support. Additional features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not included.

The Itel A100C includes a video light, which assists with illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
